Do I need a change of clothes?

Your child can bring a change of clothes if you wish but it isn’t essential because we provide protection clothes to all children when they arrive at the woods this includes: Scandinavian Snow Suits, Water proofs, Snow Boots, Wellies, Fleeces, T-Shirts, Gloves, Socks (regular and boot style) and Rigger Steel toe caps.

What is a Keyworker?

Once your child is enrolled with us they will be given a Keyworker who will be in charge of assessing your child within the settings and are available for you to talk to if you have any questions.

What happens in the Winter?

We aim to utilise the woods all year round, however, during the dark nights we take into consideration the safety of our children and may make the decision to remain indoors for this period of time.

What happens during extreme weather conditions?

We are always checking weather updates to ensure that it is safe for us to go out. If there is a chance of lightning storms or the wind speed is above 5 on the Beaufort Scale (above 17 knots) then we take the decision to remain indoors to ensure the safety of all our children and staff.
